Portrait of a faithful man... The story of the life of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the poet of the National Anthem, full of struggle, sacrifice and sadness... The drama-documentary Korkma, starring Orhan Kılıç and written by Uğur Uzunokun, is directed by Tunç Davut and produced by Ahmet Yenilmez. Mehmet Akif's friends, Kuşçubaşı Eşref, Mithat Cemal Kuntay, Ali Şükrü Bey, Eşref Edip and Emin Ersoy are the narrators of the story. Mehmet Akife, who spent the last periods of his life in loneliness, is an example of loyalty of his friends... The series gives solid answers about why Mehmet Akife went to Berlin, what he did in the deserts of Nejd, and how he wrote his poem to the Martyrs of Çanakkale. The murder of his favorite friend, his departure to Egypt, and his longing for his homeland are told in this docu-drama.
