Mahir was a student at Istanbul University in the late 1970s; At the same time, he is interested in politics in the context of the period and stays close to the idealist movement. Belgin is studying in the same department as Mahir. Despite the law of the idealist movement that everyone is either sister, older brother or brother to each other, they cannot make their hearts obey and they meet at the Can Patisserie in Sirkeci. But their love cannot last long amid the bloody actions of the period. When the 1980 revolution came, all ties were severed. Taking shelter in Åžeyh Edebali's dervish lodge to survive, Mahir's days will be filled by the half-witted Zafer, whose heart is burning with a girl named Cemre.
